We tried to regenerate the issue on our end but failed. Please, once try to upload the image by activating any default theme of WordPress and deactivating other plugins ( except rtMedia, BuddyPress and Transcoder. ).
Additionally, Could you please confirm if you are facing the same issue while uploading the image on our demo website here? - http://demo.rtmedia.io/
