Same performance for wpfc and standard wp install

Hello guys,

I have some weird test results, so maybe you could tell me where I'm missing something...

1. Test install, Genesis Theme + wptest.io, EE with BASIC install, then Cache Enabler plugin installed
2. Test install, Genesis Theme + wptest.io, EE with WPFC install, WP Total Cache removed, then Cache Enabler plugin installed

I get exactly the same performance from webpagetest.org running 9 times.

Any idea ? How is the fast-cgi WPFC install supposed to run faster ? Is it ONLY accelerating the backend (i.e. wordpress dashboard).
